"Knock knock-"
"Coming!"
Summer was about to take a nap, when a sharp knock on the door interrupted her.
"Emma, what are you doing here? Didn't you say you were going to that cruise party?" Seeing Emma suddenly appearing at the door, Summer felt a bit puzzled. "It was a bit boring, so I came back."
Emma shrugged, casually, and Summer, having known her for so long, could see that something was wrong with her mood.
"What's wrong? You look upset, is it because your work is not going well? Our Emma's business skills are top notch!"
She put her arm around Emma's shoulder in a teasing tone.
"Come on, stop teasing me, I'm just a little upset. Do you have time this afternoon? Let's go out for a walk."
Whenever Emma was free, she would think about what happened between herself and Ethan, and in order to keep her mind off of it, she had to find something to do. "Sure, I'm a little bored too, I've been meaning to go out for a while."
Summer quickly agreed, and the two of them hit it off right away, heading straight to the mall.
After shopping like crazy in the mall, Summer was so hungry, "Emma, we bought so many things, it's not too early now, let's go eat dinner."

"Go ahe
I'll order your food first."
Emma knew her tastes very well.
Olivia was sitting alone in a corner not far away, she was looking around, as if waiting for someone, when suddenly she was struck by the sight of Emma by the window. "Why is she here."
Olivia's eyes flashed with a flash of emptiness, she looked at Emma incredulously, it was hard to be calm. She hastily pulled out her cell phone, tapped a text message on the keyboard, and immediately sent it.
[I ran into an acquaintance at the restaurant, don't come over, I'll meet you at the house later].
After sending the text message, Olivia was slightly relieved, picked up the red wine on the table, and walked straight towards Emma.
"Miss Emma, did you have a good time at the cruise party?"
She shook her goblet in her hand and raised her eyebrows, her eyes showing a hint of
disdain.
Emma raised her eyes, a hint of impatience passed under her eyes, but in order to make Olivia realize that she would not be pestered again, she smiled and said, "It's not bad, the scenery is especially good, Olivia didn't go, it's a pity that she didn't go, I'll talk to you in more detail when I have the chance."
The subtext was undoubtedly: can you leave me alone now?
Olivia understood, she was a bit unwilling, and clutched the wine glass in her hand tightly, almost crushing it. Her resentful gaze fell on Emma, and then she sneered: "It seems that this party has given Miss Emma a lot of insight, right? No wonder, it's really rare for people like you to appear in that kind of high-class occasion!"
