Chapter 347 To Frame Joey
Chapter 347 To Frame Joey
At this moment, Joey and Allen were facing her. As there were many guests around, they didn't find
Yolanda walking towards them.
When she got to Joey, Yolanda got tripped and then she fell to Joey.
Joey was taken aback and moved out of the way, only to see Yolanda pull her bag to the floor.
"I am sorry, I'll pick it up for you."
Without looking up, Yolanda picked up Joey's bag in hurry-scurry.
But when she took the bag, Yolanda unzipped the bag without anyone noticing and stuffed in a shiny
little thing. The whole process was so fast and accurate that no one could notice. And then she got up
and put the small bags back to Joey, and pretended to be surprised, "Joey?"
Joey and Allen were stunned when Yolanda turned around to hand over the bag. They didn't expect
that Yolanda would attend the dinner.
Joey reached out for the bag and said coldly, "What a small world," she said. "You bumped into my
bag, but not others. It makes me wonder if you're up to something. Yolanda, I'm telling you, if you play
tricks again, I won't let you go!"
When they were in court, Yolanda embarrassed Joey, Allen and Fiona. Joey was thinking that when
she saw Yolanda again, she would not let this evil woman off, but she didn't expect that Yolanda would
show up here.
Allen also took a cold look at Yolanda. His tight lips and deep brows suggested that he was on Joey's
side.
Yolanda raised her eyebrows, grinned, and then walked away without saying a word.
Joey found it strange. It was not Yolanda's style, but Joey didn't have time to think about it, as Vivian's
sudden scream pierced through the quiet hall.
For a moment, everyone was shocked by her scream. All the music stopped, and everyone turned to
look at her.
"Vivian, what's wrong?" asked Samantha in a concerned tone.
Martin didn't come to the dinner party tonight, so it was up to Samantha to do all the greeting work. As
soon as she heard Vivian's screaming, she dropped everything and rushed to Vivian.
"Mom, my ring is missing..."
Vivian held Samantha's arm. Her eyes made people feel very sad.
"The ring is gone?"
Samantha took Vivian's hand and had a check. Sure enough, there was nothing on Vivian's ring finger.
At this time, everyone all around come over, and they said, "Maybe you dropped it when you were
dancing?" ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
"No, I saw Miss Vivian's ring still on her hand after the dance..."
"It must be in the dining room..."
"Yeah, did anyone see it?"
"Well, if someone saw it and found it, they wouldn't tell Vivian. The ring is worth millions..."
"What do you mean? Everyone here is noble. Who would do such a disgraceful thing...?"
The people were chatting loudly, especially those gossip ladies. Whenever there was a problem, they
would get excited.
Vivian shook her head and said, "I just went to the ladies' room. When I washed my hands, I took off
the ring and put it aside. But when I tried to get it back and put it on, I found the ring was gone. In the
ladies' room, there was another person with me."
Vivian paused.
"And who was she?"
The crowd was curious. There was no doubt that the other person was most likely the one who had
stolen the ring.
Hearing this, Joey's expression immediately changed. She was in the ladies' room with Vivian just now.
Joey took a step back and put her left hand on the long table with the delicate dessert and fruit. Was
Vivian going to slander her?
And ... Sure enough!
Vivian paused for a moment, then stretched out her finger and pointed at Joey. "It was her!" she said
coldly.
As Vivian pointed at Joey, the crowd let out a cry of disbelief.
Allen got shocked immediately. He pulled Joey into his arms, looked at Vivian, and said sharply, "Ms.
Vivian, please mind your words. Don't talk nonsense, or we will sue you for defamation!"
Vivian shuddered at Allen's stare and couldn't help shrinking back. Her momentum immediately got
weak, and she forgot all the following words taught by Yolanda. Subconsciously, she turned her eyes to
Yolanda and asked for help!
Yolanda stared back at Vivian angrily. It seemed that she had to answer back herself. She stepped
forward and said loudly, "Mr. Allen, are you trying to suppress others with your identity? If the one
standing by your side didn't take my sister's ring, why not have her bag checked? If she didn't steal it,
she would prove her innocence."
