One-Hundred Forty-Three: Captives

The three of us are still being held by the Silver Moon pack. I have no idea how long we have been
down here in these cells. I have to admit that the cells are nice. They moved us to better cells. The
alpha, beta, and gamma have been down here to talk to us several times. Chris comes to talk a fair
amount as well. I have only seen Mykenzie and Kylani once. I am still not sure if that is a good thing or
not. I really expected to see them more.
“You think they will ever come to talk to us again?” Ian asks.
“I don’t know. That knowledge actually worried me more than anything.” I answer.
They didn’t take our bears away. Which I am thankful for. We are now able to walk freely around in our
cells. They took the chains off a while ago. It was a shock when they told us they had turned everything
over to Mykenzie and Kylani. No wonder everything we did was not working.
“Do you think Asmoday knows who is really in charge?” Marshall asks.
“I can guarantee you that he has no idea,” I tell him.
Which makes me laugh. I wonder if he would continue with his little plan if he knew the truth. I know
that if he knew, he would be reassessing his plan. There is no way his current plan will work. No, with
who he is up against. I turn around as I hear footsteps coming towards our cells.
I watch as two omega’s walk up and slide out food underneath towards us. They turn around and leave
quickly. I have no doubt that they are scared of us. I have thought that maybe we should turn on
Asmoday. I am still pissed at him. When they found me, I had been poisoned by him. That bastard,
after all the years I stood by him. All three of us have been more than loyal to him and his fucking black
market bullshit. Hell, we have even helped capture some of the creatures that his other people couldn’t.
I didn’t feel good about it, but he offered a very generous amount of money for our help. I walk over and
pick up the plate with the food on it. I have to admit that whoever the cook is in this pack is damn good.
They also have an amazing baker.
“Damn this food is good.” Ian comments.
“Yeah, it is. Their cook is fantastic.” Marshall adds.
“When was the last time anyone came down and talked to us,” I ask.
“It’s been a couple of days. That’s weird, I wonder what is going on.” Ian says.
That is strange. Someone usually comes down every day if not every other day. It has been three or
four days. Something must be going on.
“Just thought the three of you would like to know that as of a week ago Silver Moon has absorbed
Darrius’s pack. He has also fled to where we are assuming wherever Asmoday is.” Rye tells us.
I watch as he walks off after he drops that bomb on the three of us. Well, that explains why no one has
been down here for a while. They are busy dealing with adding a new pack. I wonder how Darrius is
taking the news. That is not our problem. For now, we get to sit in these cells and wait until they decide
what they want to do with us.
Ian
Another bring day down in this cell. I was surprised when Rye came down and told us what was going
on. Not surprised they found out that Darrius was helping Asmoday. Darrius is probably throwing one
hell of a tantrum right now. I am surprised he didn’t stay and fight more than he did. He never struck me
as the type to abandon his pack. He wanted nothing more than to ruin Silver Moon. Well, look how that
turned out for him. I hate being stuck down here; at least the food is good. They are actually treating us
decently as prisoners. I still find it strange that we have only seen the girls once.
“Don’t worry my sisters have not forgotten about you three,” Chris announces.
“I didn’t think they had. I just find it weird that they have only graced us with their presence once.” I tell
him.
“Oh, they have every intention of coming back.” He replies.
“They are not done with you three yet.” He adds.
He gives us a smirk and turns, and walks off. I hate this guy because he always acts like he is better
than everyone else. I actually don’t like any of the guys. They all act like that. They hide behind those
girls. They can’t fight their own fights. I step away from the front of the bars and walk back towards my
bed. I have no time for his shit. I wish they would let us know what they are going to do with us. I know
they are going to let us go. This is a thought for another day.
Leah
These three are either stupid or completely oblivious if they think that none of us has been down here.
Every one of us has been down here every day. Of course, they have no idea that we are here. We
make sure to keep in the shadows. The only one that we don’t let come down here is Alexis. She would
probably trip over something, and then they would know. Right now, we don’t want them to know that
we are watching. They tend to do and say things when they have no idea they are being watched. We
have also been recording their conversations. That system is on 24 hours a day. We have now had
them here for almost a month. I think they have come to realize that they aren’t going anywhere. I stay
for a few hours cause that is all I can get away with before Marcus starts asking around for me. It is
usually Bryn or Daniylla down here. Nate is at work during the day, and Donte isn’t as possessive. I NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
decide I have been there long enough, plus Jailynn lets me know that Marcus is looking for me. I go
back to my room and take a shower so he can’t smell the cells on me. I find him in the kitchen of the
packhouse.
“I hope you are not bugging the cook,” I tell him.
“Not at all, baby.” He tells me.
I take a seat in his lap and take a bite of his food. It looks like some sort of pasta dish. It tastes
amazing. It makes me realize that I am starving. Araya dishes me up a plate, and damn, it’s the best
thing ever. I see Marcus give me a look, but I ignore it and continue eating.
We have an appointment to see the baby for the first time tomorrow. It will be too early to see what the
sex of the baby is, but I am just excited to see it. I can’t wait till tomorrow.
