Sahil's POV All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

It was Sagar's wedding day. Our house was bustling with activities... Everyone had a fun time teasing

Sagar, the whole day.

In the evening, everyone got ready. Sagar was dressed up in wedding sherwani and churidar. A small

puja was then performed, The turban and the Sehra was sanctified by the priest during this puja. Then

that turban and the Sehra were tied around his head by our dad.

All the men, our dad, Rahul, Mehul, Vikram, Gautam and I wore pagdi on our heads.

I wanted to have a look at a certain someone, but I could not find her. Where was she??

Then I saw her coming with Swati. Oh god she was looking so good. She looked like a fashion Diva.

Her dress was a bit hotter than she could ever dare to wear. Swati was also looking very pretty. All the

young men were looking at them only.

Shit!! I need to be around them.

The baarat departed towards the venue. We all reached the hotel. Her family members were there to

welcome us.

Damini's mom, dad, Mr. Mathur and Samar were standing there. Aunty welcomed Sagar with Aarti and

then we entered inside the wedding hall.

We all waited there beside sagar. Swati and Manu went to see Damini.

After about 10 minutes, the music changed and everyone turned to see towards the entry door. Damini

was looking beautiful in that wedding attire.

I looked at Sagar, he was lost in his love's eyes. Damini was walking towards him slowly. All his friends

were teasing him. But he was just looking at Damini and didn't pay any heed to what they were saying.

He was just so much in love and extremely happy.

She came near the stage and he extended his hand and helped her to come up on the stage.

Swati and Manu got the garlands on the platters and they picked them up. She was looking so beautiful

that my stupid brother kept looking at her and forgot to react.

" Come back on earth.... " I whispered in his ear. All his friends laughed. Damini blushed beautifully and

he smiled.

" You both are supposed to both exchange the garlands in order to get married. " Gautam said, while

others laughed.

All his friends were teasing him.

" Beta it is the right muhurat, so do the ceremony first and then tease each other as much as you want.

"

My mom said and we all nodded.

This was such a fun-filled ceremony. She had to put the garland first... His friends picked him up so that

she could not put the garland over his head. She tried thrice but every time they picked him higher. She

shook her head.

Samar said that he would pick her up. But she shook her head. " No. Samar it is ok, " Then she said

something in a very low voice.

" She said to me that if you don't want to get married to her then it is fine. She asked me to find another

one who is ready. " Samar said loudly.

" What?? Never... Don't you even think about it. Put me down you morons... " He said and they placed

him back on stage.

It was so hilarious. He had to persuade her again to marry him.

He held her hands and made her put the garland over his head and put his over her head, immediately.

Everyone laughed at the action. Everyone showered flowers over them.

Samar and my friends were also there.

Ria and Noopur had also come. They both hugged me.

Ria said, " You are looking very handsome Sahil. Even your twin is looking extremely handsome. "

How dumb... We are identical twins.. we both look alike so that was more than obvious. I didn't know

what to say to her but I had to say something.

" Yeah.... Thanks. You are also looking pretty. " I said.

" Thanks, " she said. And before she could say anything else, I excused myself. I was not in a mood to

talk to anyone.

After exchanging the garlands, they proceeded to the wedding mandap.

They did all the rituals and finally they said their 7 vows each. Pandit ji was explaining the vows to

everyone. I heard those vows and got the meaning of them for the first time.

I was getting a bit uncomfortable.

Marriage ??? Was I meant to get married?

Would I be able to spend the rest of my life with Manyata ??

No !!!!

Maybe with.....

Shit !!! I am losing my mind. I don't want her either.

Are you sure? My inner soul said.

What do you want??

I want you to accept what you want.

I don't want Manu...

Ha ha... I never said anything about Manu.

For god's sake, just shut up. I don't want any one.

Then why were you getting jealous over her?

I was not...

You should have seen your face.

You are mad... I don't need to get possessive about anyone. Many girls are crazy about me.

Yeah but you lost interest in all of them...

There is no such thing..

Is it?? What happened on the date with Mitali?

I was not feeling well.

No you were affected by what your dad said about being responsible. And what happened with

Raima??

Raima was trying to prove that we were in a serious relationship.

Are you not? You were about to go to her place and have yourself distracted from the thoughts that

were bothering you. But you couldn't, once you saw her there.

I couldn't leave Swati there.

Oh please Sahil I am not Raima. I am your own soul. Sagar and Samar were there to take care of all

the three girls. As it is all the 3 girls could take care of themselves. You know that well.

Sagar was busy..

So were you...

Now shut up.

Why were you jealous when Samar and that man danced with her?

I was not... Now stop it.

No... You were disappointed. You got angry with Raima too just because you wanted to dance with

Manu and she declined.

Raima embarrassed me in front of my sister and Damini.

And she said all those things in front of Manu, which you planned to do earlier with her.

Enough !!! Stop this....

I shouted in my mind and this time surprisingly he did that.

I concentrated on the wedding. Swati tied the ends of their dupattas in a tight knot and they encircled

the sacred fire.

Sagar applied the Sindoor (vermilion) and tied the Mangalsutra around her neck. All the rituals were

completed and pandit ji declared them as man and wife. They took the blessings of all the elder ones.

It was time for them to come out of mandap and when we came out his shoes were not there.... But

who did that??

Maybe the bride’s sisters took hold of shoes and hid them. But Damini was the only child of their

parents. Sagar looked at me, but I didn't have a clue.

But then we saw Samar, Anshu, and Manu standing there with a smile on their faces.

" Why are you smiling Samar?" Sagar asked him.

" Because we have your shoes dear Jiju.. ( brother-in-law). " Samar was smirking.

Idiot....

" How can you be on their side? " I said to Samar.

" Their side?? Damini is my sister... This is my side. "

Why is she on your side ???

" Manu, why are you on that side? " Swati asked.

" Damini was very sad that Anshu would be alone on her side and she wanted me to be from her side.."

she explained with a smile.

" Fine... " Sagar said with a smile but I was annoyed. I just looked away.

Why did she have to be with him???

" So are you ready to pay as per your demand Jiju? " Anshu said.

" What are your demands? " Sagar asked with a smile.

" ₹ 50 thousand ... " Samar said.

" Are you out of your mind?? We can get 10 pairs of such shoes in 50 K. " I said, he must have lost his

mind.

" Then go and get one Sagar ji ... " Manu said, staring at me. I was shocked as hell.

She looked a bit angry today. But why??

" How do I know if you really have his shoes or not... I want to see them first.... " I said to her.

" You have not seen shoes till now Sahil ?? " Samar asked jokingly which irritated me more.

" What if you don't have his shoes.. show them to us first.... " I said again.

" Ok... Manu please bring the shoes.. "

Samar said and she nodded.

" Sure.. " she said and went to take the shoes.

I followed her.
