Joanna reached out her hand to grab Millie’s arm and said, “Are you happy now?”
Millie was forced to look at her. It was no wonder that she was the woman Winston loved. She even asked the same question as him.
“Millie, you really love to see me being laughed at, huh?” Joanna bit her lower lip and glared at Millie.
Millie yanked her hand out of Joanna’s grip. “It’s wrong to deceive Grandma with a fake Snowdrop. If you’re so afraid of being laughed at, then don’t bring fake ones.”
“You had the real one. Why didn’t you say anything?” Joanna lost control of her emotions.
If Millie had told her, would she still bring the fake one here?
“You didn’t ask, did you?” Millie smirked, her tone tinged with sarcasm..
Joanna was rendered speechless.
Every time Joanna saw Millie, she was the one telling Millie that she got Snowdrop. Indeed, she had never asked Millie because in her eyes, Millie didn’t deserve to get Snowdrop. Millie would be lucky to
even get a glimpse of it. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Millie, do you think that Winston will love you as long as you win against me?” Joanna raised her head. She couldn’t win the argument, so she resorted to using Winston as her argument.
Millie remained silent and unbothered.
Joanna walked up to Millie. Gripping her wine glass firmly, her gaze darkened as she said, “Winston will never love you. He only loves me!
“Millie, you’re nothing but a clown who can’t do any damage. You gave up so much for Winston, but what did you get in the end?”
Millie’s expression turned grim. Her gaze was sharp as she stared at the indignant Joanna.
“Do you know? Winston has once told me that you’re just an idiot!” Joanna smiled smugly as she said
this.
Millie clenched her fists slowly. Her heart raced and even her throat constricted.
“Winston said it himself… He said that you’re an idiot!
Right after Joanna finished speaking, Millie was about to raise her hand to slap her.
All of a sudden, a walter in front of the wine tower slipped and fell toward the wine glasses.
Millie’s eyes narrowed. The 6–feat high wine tower was falling toward her and Joanna.
Millie’s heart skipped a beat as she recalled the waller’s face. Wasn’t he the one Jonna spoke to just now? Could this be Joanna’s plan?
When Millie heard Jake call out “Win” behind her, it confirmed her speculation. She immediately pushed Joanna away.

Millie had acted quickly, catching Joanna by surprise. She didn’t think Millie would push her away.
After Joanna was pushed away, the wine tower fell and crashed onto Millie.
The sound of wine glasses shattering on the ground even drowned out the piano music.
Everyone looked in the direction of the sound. They saw Joanna standing near the wreck unharmed, while Millie was on the floor. Her dress was soaked in red wine and pieces of broken glass were all
around her.
Millie took a deep breath. She raised her right hand and saw her wrist and palmed being pierced by the glass fragments. Her legs felt cold and she looked very pitiful.
The crowd panicked at once.
Someone shouted, “Ms. Lowell was crushed under the wine tower. Not just Ms. Lowell, but also Mrs. Greer. Quick, someone help!”
Winston and Jake exchanged glances with each other and darted into the crowd.
Joanna came to Winston’s side and muttered, “Win..
Winston checked on Joanna. Of course she was okay.
He then looked toward the wine tower, only to see Millie looking at him calmly. Winston’s heart trembled uncontrollably. It was Millie!
Seeing how worried he was about Joanna, Millie couldn’t help but feel jealous. He loved Joanna so much, huh?
“Millie, are you okay?” A man’s gentle but anxious voice drifted into her ears.
Enduring the pain, she turned around. The person crouching down beside her was actually Simon?
“I…” She didn’t think she was okay. It hurt a lot.
Millie wanted to move, but she didn’t dare to. There were glass shards everywhere, and if she moved, they would pierce into her flesh!
Simon noticed her discomfort and said, “I’ll take you to the hospital.” Then, he reached out to carry her, but his shoulder was bumped by someone.
The man’s voice was stern, and there was a chill around him. “She’s Mrs. Greer. You have no right!”
