Chapter 8

Chapter 8

"WHALE!" Jimin yelled as soon as Taehyung pretends to sprout water. He turns to him, shaking his head vigorously to indicate a no.

After several tries, Jimin was finally able to get it after Taehyung pinched the area on his arm between two moles.

"Aish...so it was an elephant" Jimin runs a hand across his hair in frustration.

It was now Jimin's turn. Hoseok flashes the phone screen at his direction, showing a porcupine.

And almost immediately the group begun to make their assumptions when Jimin curled up into a ball.

"A CABBAGE!" Jin held up his shopping list.

"A BALL!" Taehyung held up his blue bouncy ball. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

"A TESTICLE!" Namjoon held up the biology textbook.

"Porcupine..." Yoongi, who was asleep, suddenly raised his hand.

"Correct!" An eyesmile formed on Jimin's face as he made a victory pose directed to Yoongi.

"Speaking of which, where is that kid?" Jin nudges Namjoon that was fumbling with his broken earpiece.

"He mentioned that he wanted to bring someone else to join us for lunch" he replies.

"You don't have any friends?" I could hear Jungfuck's mocking voice behind my ear, his arm leaning onto my desk from the back. As I flipped the pages of my textbook, his shadow overcasts the words,

rendering me unable to read them.

"I don't need any. They're pointless" I pushed against his chest to indicate him to move. The muscle kook stays perfectly in position, inching closer to my body as I tried to resist him.

"I can be your friend, you know..." he drags his voice, eyes darkening as he stared at me. I felt myself swallow a huge gulp of air from the way he gazed at me suggestively, probably expecting something from me.

But as usual, I decided to give him my dose of torture.

"I don't need you as my friend," the corners of my mouth curved into a smug smirk. I raised my leg up to rest on the other, the skirt rising slightly up my thigh. As a result, Jungkook's attention diverted to my bottom half for that split second.

"...because I don't befriend perverts." I pulled down my skirt drastically, snapping him out of focus. Jungkook realizes what I've pulled on him, and he runs a hand across his face frustratedly.

"You can't just give me a boner and leave" he leans back on my desk, eyes following my hands that packed up the books. I raised an eyebrow at him, registering the words in my head. Did he just said what I think he said?

"Hey, let me ask you something," his frowns changes quickly to a smile. Jungkook grabs my wrist gently, pulling me forward so i stumbled clumsily onto his chest. When I struggled to get away, he wraps an arm around my waist and leads me out of the classroom to avoid the gaping stares of the other students.

"Jeon Ju-

When I tried to slap his hand away, the boy corners me onto the wall, perfectly hidden at an empty corridor. I stood frozen in his trap, unable to push away or even look away from his piercing stare. Jungkook's hair was tousled into a hot mess, his top button loosened so it exposes his collar. The tension in the air took away all feelings in my nerves.

"Answer me honestly," I watched his lips move as he whispers, the breath hitting my ear and sending tingles down my skin. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"You dragged me all the way here to ask me that?" I replied incredulously. Jungkook nods slowly with a serious expression, the sincererity in his eyes made me doubt myself a little.

Just at that moment, the voices of what seemed to be a group of female students echoed closer towards our direction. I could recognise those annoying pitchy voices as -

"Jungkook oppa!~" they called. That's right, Juancock fangirl club.

Jungkook and I exchanged anxious looks, their footsteps indicating that they were just about to turn the corner and witness the two of us alone, and mind that we want to spare our lives for an important test next week.

Without any hesitation, I pulled Jungkook with me into the nearby locker, closing it right before the girls appeared at the area. Naturally our bodies cramped up in the small and dark space, pressing against each other as if our lives depended on it. And it didn't help that the person I chose to be stuck with is a bulky muscular boy.

"Jungkook, your bicep is squeezing me..." I whispered into his chest, both my arms wrapped around his torso to save space. One of his arm is holding my waist, the other pressed on the side of the locker next to my face. I could feel our warm breaths mixing together at the close approximaty.

"Soojung, uhm." I looked up at Jungkook, whose face was painfully close to mine to the point that our noses touched. I noticed the scarlet red that flushed across his cheeks, and the sound of heartbeat thundering loudly. Is it my heart or his? I couldn't tell.

I had drowned out the voices of the girls outside at this point, because I just realized that his leg was in between my thighs while my knee was pressed against his....thing.

Oh my god. I mentally cursed myself for leading the both of us into this sort of situation. I tried my best not to move at all, but human bodies apparently don't work that way. I buried my face into his chest so he couldn't observe the rising blush that overtook my entire face.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook whispers to me in a tone of concern, embracing me back gently and attempting to remove his leg. I closed my eyes tightly when I felt him move away, his hand adjusting my thigh accordingly.

Now in a much better position, I just cuddled quietly with him until the voices outside seem to vanish. I peeked out of the little slits on the locker, and to my relief there were no signs of them.

"I need to catch my breath" I bended over as soon as the both of us separated. I thought my heart would explode the entire time we were inside.

"Soojung," Jungkook calls my name in a softer tone, slipping his blazer off as he did. "Sorry about just now." He approaches me cautiously and wraps it around my waist, covering the skirt that had ridden up when we squeezed together in the locker.

"Im sorry too, Jungkook." I smiled slightly at him, earning a surprised look on his face. "for calling you a pervert."

Unfortunately for Jungkook, the lunch bell rang when he was just about to answer. Panick rose in me as I realized the next period was located at the opposite building.

"Have to run!" I patted his back, turning away to leave. Before I could, he grabs my hand and held it firmly.

"I want to hear the answer to my question." Jungkook circles his thumb on the back of my hand, his eyes full of anticipation.

"I don't have a boyfriend." I answered, and his eyes lit up. "But...."

"I'M GAY" I whispered aggressively to him.

The shock on Jungkook's face was priceless. I left him there trying to make sense of my lie, running back with a fit of laughter.
