Richest Mogul

Chapter 1515

Several barbecue restaurants were bustling with patrons.

Harvey had arranged to meet a group of his college friends that day. These were the buddies he used to team up with for gaming sessions back in their college days.

Before graduating, they had made a pact to start a business together once they were out of school. Now reunited, their primary topic of discussion was finally turning that dream into reality. Barbecue was a favorite among the young crowd, and it wasn't long before Harvey found himself three beers in. His friends were drinking too.

"This is it, then. Tomorrow, I'll go with Dale to scout out potential office locations," Harvey declared, his voice loud and confident.

"I'll take care of drafting the business plan. Let's calculate the costs we'll need to start," Linden Castro offered.

In less than three hours, they had hashed out a rough outline. Young and energetic, they thrived on their determination to take immediate action.

Harvey was brimming with confidence. "Just wait. I'll lead us to success, and we'll make a name for ourselves in Jipsburg!"

"We trust you!" Dale Sharp shouted, raising a bottle in solidarity.

"To that, I'll drink," Linden said, downing his beer in one go.

The conversation drifted to reminiscing about old classmates. Back in college, they had practically seen each other daily. Now, life had scattered everyone in different directions.

Some had stayed in Jipsburg, some returned to their hometowns, and others had gone abroad in pursuit of new opportunities.

Before they knew it, it was close to 11:00 pm. After saying their goodbyes, the three went their separate ways.

Harvey had known in advance that he would be drinking tonight, so he hadn't driven. He stood on the sidewalk, waiting for a cab to pass by.

The alcohol hadn't hit him hard-he wasn't drunk, just a little drowsy. He figured a quick ride home, a hot shower, and some sleep would set him right.

At this late hour, traffic was sparse, and so were cabs. When none stopped, Harvey pulled out his phone to order an Uber.

Just then, a car pulled over in front of him. Harvey glanced up, surprised.

The street had yellow lines marking no parking zones, and this was a one-way road where stopping wasn't allowed. As he wondered who would park so recklessly, the driver lowered the window.

The two locked eyes for a brief moment. Harvey's face instantly darkened. Any trace of drowsiness was gone, the cool night breeze further sharpening his mind.

He asked coldly, "Were you following me?"

Finn, sitting behind the wheel,

explained with a smile, "Following

you? Don't flatter yourself. I was just passing by and happened to see you. I stopped to say hi. Are you trying to hail a cab? I can give you a ride-home. Not many cabs come through here at this hour

Finn's gaze softened as he looked at Harvey. He had seen all three of his sons now. Out of them, Harvey was the one who resembled him most.

The other two had inherited more of Janine's features. Yet of all his children, Harvey was the most indifferent toward him.

Harvey's expression remained neutral, his lips curling into a mocking smile. "No need. I can call an Uber. Don't waste your precious time. You can leave now."

He didn't see any point in conversing with Finn. Especially after learning more from Steven in recent days, Harvey felt even less inclined to waste words or emotions.

"You've been drinking. Uber can be uncomfortable. Just get in my car. I'm a good driver-I promise I'll get you home safe and sound." Finn stared at his youngest son, his patience fraying at the edges. However, he quickly reminded himself to stay composed. Patience was key, he couldn't rush this.

Harvey narrowed his eyes, studying Finn. "Looks like you're doing well after abandoning us. This car must've cost two or three million dollars, right? Now you've come to find us-where were you all these years?

"Don't tell me you've suddenly

realized you have no heirs and want

to claim us as your sons to hand over your fortune? No, that's giving you too much credit. Someone like you wouldn't hand over a dime to us. You've gone through all these twists and turns, making all this effort to find us, and it's not to talk about

father-son bonds.

"It's too late for that now. A few years ago, maybe we could have talked, but now? If you've got something to say, spit it out. Otherwise, don't waste my time. Oh, and leave my mom alone while you're at it."

Seeing Harvey completely dismiss

him, with every word laced withnoveldrama

sarcasm, Finn's expression darkened He furrowed his brows in frustration, his patience thinning. "No matter what you think, I'm still

You

father. When I left, you were just a kid.

"You don't know the full story. But you and your brothers are so stubborn. You've made up your mind about me without even letting me explain. You've painted me as the villain, the one who abandoned his family." "Oh, didn't you? Or am I mistaken?" Harvey scoffed, his expression freezing over.
