Chapter 859 Clouding Gem
Chapter 859 Clouding Gem
Looking at her nervous look, Florrie pretended to look nervous, as if the woman had guessed it.
But just when the woman was about to exclaim, Florrie laughed, "If I offended Wild Wolf, I would rather
die in other places than hide in your house. How would I dare to offend him?"
The woman then relaxed, but then she looked at Florrie angrily, "How could you bear to cheat me. I let
you stay here!"
Florrie hurriedly apologized, "Okay, it's my fault. I'll buy you the latest clothes for this season, OK."
Only then did the woman's face softened.
However, Florrie said again, "The person I messed with is not Wild Wolf, but he's hard to deal with. Do
you know Finn?"
The woman exclaimed, "How did you get into trouble with him. He is notoriously ruthless, and those
who had offended him died a miserable death."
Florrie sighed, "I was out of my mind. I shouldn't have taken fancy the Clouding Gem in his daughter's
hands. Now I have to hide from him. My seniors are so fearful of him that they are very eager to send
me to him, so as to appease him."
The woman frowned, and couldn't find a way that could help Florrie.
"Clouding Gem? What's that?" She asked.
"A treasure, a very rare and precious treasure. You will definitely be attracted to it once you see it. It
was also because I couldn't control my desire for it that I wanted to take it away. Otherwise, how could I
kidnap Cloud's daughter?" A look of intoxication appeared on Florrie's face as she recalled the thing.
"Could it be that amazing? I don't believe it." The woman shook her head.
Florrie seemed to know that no matter what she said, the woman wouldn't believe her, so she said, "If
you don't believe me, I can show you."
The black-haired woman exclaimed, "How dare you take it with you?"
However, Florrie didn't care. "I would like to return it to him, but after he saw me, he wanted to kill me.
In that case, even if I die, I won't let him find that treasure."
The woman thought for a moment and didn't know how to comment on Florrie's decision, but only
asked curiously, "You have it with you?"
Florrie immediately shook her head and said, "How is that possible? I put it in a safe place. A place
only I know."
Hearing this, the woman said indifferently, "I don't want to get involved, and you don't have to tell me.
Otherwise, I might die because of it."
Florrie then didn't show it to her.
And at the same time the man beside Finn took out something from his pocket. He held it in his palm,
and did not show it directly. Instead, he stretched his hand to Finn, asking Finn to catch it.
Finn then took that in his hand.
The thing was as large as a pigeon egg and it was slightly cool and heavy. Finn thought that it was a
stone.
When he was about to look at it, the man said, "It is very precious. I hope Mr. Feng can keep it safe. As
for the question I am going to ask, it is also about the treasure."
Finn then opened his palm and saw what was in his hand was a pigeon egg-sized gem. He looked at
the man in confusion, wondering why the man would give this to him.
"What do you mean?" Finn asked.
"Mr. Feng, if Cloud wanted to take this gem, would you give it to him?"
Finn could not see the man's expression, which was hidden under his mask and sunglasses, and could
not tell what the man meant.
Finn said, "The thing is already in my hands, so what's the point for you to give him or not?"
The man nodded and said, "Since the gem has already been given to you, my question is a bit
redundant. But I hope Mr. Feng can tell me."
Finn, however, did not answer him, but said, "That woman hopes to cause a fight between me and
Cloud with this gem as that he could avoid the troubles. But her plan failed. Go back and tell her that it
won't work."
After saying that, Finn was not interested in scenery in the park and got up to leave.
Florrie also sat up from the woman, picked up the wine and took a sip. She looked sullen as if she was
pondering.
The woman tidied up Florrie's skirt, which was messed up. She did not disturb Florrie, who got up
alone and walked to the bookshelf, picking up a book to read.
It could have been a quiet afternoon for the two of them, but before Florrie could read two pages, there
was a hard knock on the door, which sounded like the person was coming for troubles.
The woman looked to Florrie, waiting for her decision.
Florrie was startled and looked in fear at the door. After a moment, she said, "Go and hide."
"What about you? Hide with me," said the woman.
"No, if they can't see anyone, they would search for me. I don't want you to get hurt." Florrie was very
determined.
With that, Florrie pulled the woman towards the room.
"Hide." Florrie pretended to be calm and closed the door behind her.
And she waited at the living room, which was like a closed prison cell without any possibility for her to
escape.
A moment later, the door was finally opened. The metal iron door bent and deformed from the middle,
apparently suffering from a huge force. The one standing outside the door was Cloud.
His eyes were gloomy, and his face was cold. When he saw Florrie sitting peacefully on the sofa, he Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
didn't look happy.
And Florrie spoke first, "Don't you want to know where the Clouding Gem is?"
"I'll know where it is even if you don't tell. Now I want you to die."
Florrie shouted, "I put it in a place only I know, and if you kill me, you will never get it."
But Cloud didn't seem to care. He rushed to Florrie, took her by the head and threw her out on the
ground.
Florrie did not even have any chance of fighting back. She tried to brace herself, but she felt so painful
that she was about to pass out.
"How dare you trouble me. This is what you end up with!" Cloud's face was vicious as he walked
towards Florrie, seemingly wanting to kill her.
