Chapter 30 Sisters Quarrel
Chapter 30 Sisters Quarrel
Maisy and Daisy came down from upstairs.
“Brother, why are you back so early today?” Daisy said to Leo.
Leo kept his fingers busy on his phone without raising his eyes.
Maisy said to his daughter, “Don't bother your brother. He has been exhausted these days.”
She turned to Leo and said, “How are you today, son? Are you hurt?”
Leo coldly hummed, “Hummed! Why I have to imitate him!”
Maisy said with a smile, “Son, endure it. It is your chance to turn over. Your grandpa’s birthday party is
in the next money. The Wright family will come, you must take the opportunity to perform well.”
Leo’s game failed. He put down the mobile phone and said angrily to Maisy, “Did I have to imitate a
man who had never showed up? What if that man suddenly shows up one day?”
Maisy signed Leo stop talking and lowered her voice, “Don't talk nonsense. What are you talking
about? You're Young Master Duncan. You are not imitating anyone.”
Leo didn't say anything, but picked up the phone again.
“What are you talking about?” asked Daisy.
Maisy stared at her, “Go and check the kitchen. I heard that idiot comes back and went to the kitchen.
Stay away from her and leave her alone until everything settles down on your brother.”
Daisy's lips curled. “I don’t want to pay attention to her.”
Her eyes rolled. “But what does that idiot have to do with my brother?”
Maisy roared, “Don't ask! Have a good performance. Your brother's business is the most important
now. I'll talk to you later when the matter between your brother and Miss Phoebe is settled. Don't get
into trouble!”
Daisy stopped talking.
In fact, her mother only had her brother in eyes, because her brother could help her to stand firm in the
family. She only paid attention to Daisy when she had more energy.
So, she had to fight for her own future and her goal was Jason.
When she became Mrs. Foster, she would not pay attention to this family.
Her mother and brother would try every means to please her.
Hum!
But she was angry when she thought of Angel.
She was an idiot but she was born in a rich family.
It was said that the property her mother left her was equal to half that of the Newman family.
And she had a capable brother.
But Daisy’s brother could not protect himself, leave alone to protect her.
God was not fair.
Hum! Why not provoke her?
‘I'll mess with her!’
At this thought, Daisy got up and went to the kitchen. Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
Angel was not in the kitchen.
Alexia's driver sat on a chair at the door of the kitchen to help the cook pick vegetables.
Daisy went upstairs.
Angel's room was on the fourth floor.
Angel was looking at everything in her room.
Her room was the same as when she left it five years ago.
With the protection of Kyle and Alexia, no one dared to mess up with her.
Angel sighed lightly. In a way, Angel was actually much happier than Belle.
There was a lovely porcelain doll on her desk, which was given by her brother when he went abroad in
those days. She placed it on the desk. When she woke up in the morning, she would felt peaceful when
she saw it.
She took out her phone to take a picture of the doll and sent it to her brother.
Her brother was angry with her and had been ignoring her.
She would send her brother a picture of her smiling face every day.
But her brother never answered her once.
He was angry and she had to continue to coax him.
“Brother, this porcelain doll was given to me by you a long time ago. Have you forgotten it?”
She sent him a WeChat voice. She knew her brother would listen to it, but he refused to reply her.
She sat down at her desk and opened the drawer.
The phone rang.
“You went back to the Duncan’s?” It was from her brother.
“Brother, you finally replied to me. Are you still angry with me?” Angel send a voice to him.
No more.
Not even a word.
Angel didn't give up but requested video call!
There was no answer.
Oh, her brother was cruel.
Angel pouted.
“Bang!” There was a loud bang in the doorway, and Angel was frightened. The phone dropped to the
ground.
Daisy had rushed in.
“Hey! What are you doing here?” Daisy barked at Angel.
Angel's eyes narrowed as she looked at the haughty Daisy, with her memory flickering through her
mind.
Daisy never knocked when she walked into her room!
“I'm in my own room.?” Her voice was cold.
Daisy paused for a moment, and then gnashed her teeth. “How dare you talk back?”
And with that she sprang to pull Angel's hair.
But before her hand had touched Angel, she tripped over something and hurled herself against the
windowsill, where she fell.
Angel exclaimed, “Oh, Daisy, what's the matter with you?”
There was a faint sound of footsteps outside the door, and Angel went to help Daisy.
Angry, Daisy struggled to her feet, shoving Angel away with her hand.
Angel was thrown backwards by her, hitting her back on the table. “Ouch!”
The servants came in and were greatly surprised, “What's going on, Miss Angel, Miss Daisy?”
The two men were helped to their feet, and Daisy broke away the servant's hand and rushed at Angel.
“Bitch! Get out of here!” She was going to hit Angel.
“Ah!” Angel hid behind the servant, Amaya, with her head in her arms.
Amaya was so anxious that she caught Daisy's hand and said, “Miss Daisy, don’t do that!”
“What? I'm kicking the idiot out! I hate her!” The servants were frightened and anxious when Daisy lost
her temper.
The timid servant hurried out to tell someone about it.
Amaya had worked in Newman family for a long tiem, so every one respected her.
Amaya was tall and brawny. She held Daisy's hand and Daisy could not break free.
“Amaya, get out of my way. Leave my business alone.” Said Daisy sharply.
“Miss Daisy, Miss Angel is your sister!” Amaya said.
As soon as Angel came back, she went into the kitchen, saying she wanted to make food for her
grandpa.
She did not look like an idiot.
In these five years, Angel had been protected by the Kyle, afraid that she would get bullied.
This home, sooner or later, belonged to Kyle.
Amaya, at the thought of this, was determined to protect Angel.
“Angel? What's going on over there?” A low stern voice broke out.
All the people present were startled.
Angel unconsciously looked at her phone.
Just then she was startled by Daisy. She dropped her mobile phone on the ground, and before she
could pick it up, Daisy rushed over.
She didn't expect that Kyle accepted her video call at the moment the phone dropped.
Angel picked it up quickly. “Brother, well, I --”
Angel's mind was spinning fast, but her mind was tied.
“I hear Amaya's voice, Amaya, are you there?” Kyle said.
Angel looked at Amaya for help and handed the phone to her.
Daisy winced in the silence of the servants.
Amaya took the phone and was excited, “Mr. Kyle.”
“Amaya, I heard it all, please help me to see if Angel is hurt.” Kyle's voice was calm, polite and
controlled.
She looked quickly to Angel, who had just knocked her back against the foot of the table. “Does you
back hurt, Miss Angel?” she asked.
Angel shook her head. “It's all right. It's all right.”
Amaya pointed the camera of the phone at Angel.
Angel saw her brother's cold face.
“Amaya.” Kyle glared at her sister.
“Yes, Mr. Kyle.” Amaya respectfully said.
“Angel's skin gets bruises easily. Please check it later. If there are bruises, rub it away for her. She can’t
take care of herself, please help me to take care of her.” Kyle's voice was gentle.
Amaya's eyes got wet, “Yes, Mr. Kyle, you rest assured, I will take good care of her.”
“Thank you.” Kyle hung up the phone.
“What's going on?” Maisy came screaming.
“Mom -” Daisy flapped to the Maisy, with infinite injustice.
Amaya handed the phone back to Angel and turned to block her.
Maisy stared at Angel behind her. Before she could speak, Amaya said, “Madam, Mr. Frank and Mr.
Clayton will be back soon. Let the ladies change their clothes.”
Maisy grabbed Daisy and said, “Change your clothes. What did I just tell you? Have you forgotten?”
Daisy stumbled, “Mom! What are you doing? It's not my fault. I didn't do anything.”
“Don't talk nonsense!” Maisy could noly vent her anger to her daughter.
When they had gone, Amaya closed the door quietly and locked it.
She looked at Angel and whispered, “Miss Angel, make sure you lock the door when you go back into
your room.”
That was a piece of advice.
Angel nodded, “Ok.”
Amaya smiled and sighed, “Let me see your back.”
Angel smiled and shook her head. “No need, Amaya. I didn't hit it hard at all. My brother just likes to
make a fuss. Don't take it seriously. Let's go downstairs. Grandpa should be back.”
Amaya was worried, “Are you really all right?”
Angel nodded his head and took her arm. “Yes. I'm not a kid. Don’t act like my brother, you will get old
soon.”
Amaya smiled, for Angel's intimacy, and for the affection between the two siblings.
