Axel stared at the white ceiling of his room, his legs were spread wide apart just like his arms as he did nothing but stared at the boring ceiling.
His life had seemed to lose life ever since Hazel had left him.
“She did not even leave Sana behind” he mumbled and shut his eyes for a second.
The woman he had loved from little had left him, with a promise of a war in future, a war where the both of them would not have to show the other pity, a war they would simply war.
He could still not imagine himself fighting against her. It was like that last thing he would ever do and he still could not get it, everything had been fine with Hazel before he left her in the early hours of the morning that day but everything had turned sour when he came back in the middle of the night.
He still could not place it perfectly. He took his right hand into his hair and pulled at it, clearly frustrated by life itself.
Hazel had always been his own source of joy. Each time he felt down, he only had to meet with her and he would feel better but now that sounds of joy had left him, empty and void with no more joy.
He had tried finding her during the past few days but the attempt was a huge fail. No matter where he looked, she was not there and he just could not point out where she could possibly be in the pack because he was sure that he had searched everywhere.
He had tried to mind link with her several times but she had obviously built a wall around her mind, he could not even communicate with her and it was killing him badly.

“Miss Clarissa” Sana called, walking out of Clarissa’s study room.
“Hey, I told you not to come out of the study room” Clarissa walked up to her, saying her words softly.
“I am sorry, Miss Clarissa. I just want to know what is going on with my Mommy and Daddy? Why are they not here for me yet?” Sana asked.
“Very soon. They will be back for you very soon” Clarissa assured Sana.
“Or are they abandoning me?” Sana asked.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
“Of course not, do not think like that. They love you and will never abandon you. Now, go back into the study room, remember that no one can find out that I am keeping you here”
“Yes, Miss Clarissa” she replied and walked back into the study room.
Clarissa sighed and stood straight up from her crouched position.
She placed both hands on both sides of her waist and let out another heavy breath.
She could feel it that danger was coming, disaster was coming and when it all came, she did not want Sana to be affected.
She was going to keep her away from the eyes of Axel, which was going to keep her away from the eyes of Rex and the Alpha.
The least thing she could do for Hazel was to take care of Sana and that was what she was going to do for the little child.

Rex walked into his father’s room. His father had went for a meeting with the other Alphas which gave Rex the chance to have another meeting with his mother.
He locked the door from behind and walked to the study room with a plate of food and a bottle of water in his hands.
He dropped it on the table and pushed open the path to the dungeon.
Leaving it open, he picked up the food and water and climbed down the stairs.
“Mother, I am back” he announced his presence as he walked towards her.
“Rex” she seemed glad to see him, her son, the only one she was having a social interaction with.
“I brought food for you. You should eat first”
“That is right. I am so hungry” she affirmed and in silence, Rex fed her the food.
After eating, he knelt beside her to talk but she spoke up first.
“I have sure been looking better these days and Donald has noticed that when he came down here last night” she started and Rex bit on his bottom lip.
“I think he suspects something but not that much yet. We have to get rid of him before we get busted. It is not going to be good if he finds out you come here. He is going to eliminate me immediately” she added and Rex sighed.
Over the past few days, he had been thinking of how he could eliminate the Alpha but it was close to impossible.
Fighting against his father and killing him in front of Axel while using the potion to make him see Hazel would have been the best choice if not that he could not fight against his father and win.
The only person strong enough to fight against his father in the entire pack had to be Axel and not him.
“I have been trying to find a way, mother but he is the Alpha. It is not easy to find a way to kill the Alpha” he replied and his mother nodded her understanding.
“I understand you and that is why I have made a plan. It is hard to get rid of a powerful person like your father but it is easier to slowly eliminate him. We have to poison him”
“Poison? How can we frame Hazel for it then?” He asked.
“We poison him till he is weak and then at that point, you would be able to fight against him and kill him in front of Axel while using the potion”
Rex nodded his head in understanding at his mother’s brilliant idea. His lips parted into a pretty much amused smile.
“Mother” he called her name.
“You are really the smartest, bravest. You are the best mother I could ever wish for”
“I know” she chuckled.
“But do not forget about killing some dark wolves and blaming it on white wolves. You have to get that into action as soon as possible.”
“Definitely, mother. I would not disappoint you.”
