Chapter 74 She Saved Belinda I
As the focus of attention, Eudora and Chasel were sitting in a restaurant and eating sandwiches.
"Your parents have returned to their hometown. When do you plan to come to work in my company?"
Chasel held a sandwich and asked Eudora while eating.
He was from the Burke family, which was one of the four major families in Kenison City, but he
condescended to come to such a plain restaurant. He looked graceful and completely different from the
customers around him.
"What does your company do?"
Eudora looked at Chasel. He was wearing a floral shirt, floral trousers, and sunglasses. He propped his
elbow on the table and nibbled on the sandwich. Although his clothes were casual and flashy, they
didn't affect his gorgeous face.
Eudora had to admit that Chasel was handsome. He looked evil but charming.
"I'm asking you."
"I majored in marketing management."
"Then go to the project department of my company and learn something."
"May I?"
"I am the boss of the company, and I have the final say."
Chasel raised his eyebrows at her and smiled triumphantly.
He didn't know that Eudora was actually asking if she could learn anything in his company.
She laughed and proposed a toast with coffee. "Thank you, Mr. Burke. I look forward to working with
you."
They chatted and laughed.
It seemed that Eudora only felt relaxed and happy when she was with Chasel.
After dinner, they went home separately.
Eudora felt exhausted after being busy for a few days. She locked the door and washed up, falling Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.
asleep.
Early in the morning the next day, Eudora put on her sportswear and went out for a morning run.
Morning jogging used to be her habit. However, after her adoptive father fell into a coma, she was
under the pressure of supporting her adoptive parents and the medical expenses in the hospital, so she
had to work hard to earn money every day.
Now that her adoptive parents returned to their hometown safely, her burden was much lighter, so she
picked up the habit of morning jogging.
After running for more than half an hour in the park by the river, Eudora sat by the roadside and took a
rest. Suddenly, she saw a crowd forming not far away.
"What's going on over there? I'll go and see."
"Looks like an old lady passed out."
"How could this happen?"
The people muttered as they went past Eudora. She got to her feet and went to take a look.
