Chapter 64 Eudora Met Glenn and Yvette
She mustered up the courage to finish speaking. But she didn't see any joy on Colbert's handsome
face. There was even a little impatience between his brows.
When Alva met Colbert's cold eyes, her heart skipped a beat. She realized that she had acted rashly to
get what she wanted, which was counterproductive.
"Or Colbert, can you turn off the lights when I fall asleep?" From NôvelDrama.Org.
Tears were in her beautiful eyes. She had a sweet voice and looked pitiful.
Colbert was not stupid. Of course, he saw through Alva's thoughts.
But it just didn't excite him.
"Okay."
After a long silence, he responded.
So, the lights in the ward were on all night, and Colbert just wrapped his clothes and lay on the added
bed with his eyes closed.
Although Alva was unwilling to accept it, she thought Colbert made the biggest change today by
accompanying her all night in the hospital.
The next day, when Alva woke up, the ward was quiet. Colbert had already left.
At this moment, Eudora went to the Steele Hospital. After packing up the things, she took her parents
out of the hospital and sent them back to their hometown in the countryside.
She stayed at home in the countryside for one night. After settling everything, she set off to return to
Kenison City.
Unexpectedly, when she just had returned to Gardenview Apartment, she headed on Glenn and Yvette.
After Eudora accidentally injured Alva the night before yesterday, the Baldwin family kept calling
Eudora. It didn't stop until Eudora told them that she would arrive at Kenison City at ten o'clock this
morning and meet them.
Seeing Eudora, Yvette didn't care about her image of being a noble lady and walked directly to Eudora.
"You rude girl, you have bullied my Alva several times. How dare you offend the Baldwin family?"
After saying that, she raised her hand and wanted to slap Eudora.
Before she touched Eudora's face, Eudora clasped her wrist and held it tightly.
"Mrs. Baldwin, you are a celebrity. How can you be so rude? Aren't you afraid that you'll be ridiculed if
the word spreads?"
Eudora said it sarcastically with indifferent eyes.
Yvette's wrist was held tightly by Eudora. Yvette struggled a few times but failed to shake off her hand.
"Let me go."
She scolded lightly and struggled vigorously. Eudora immediately let her go.
Due to inertia, Yvette staggered a few steps back and nearly fell onto the ground. Fortunately, Glenn
supported her quickly, so she was able to stand still.
"You presumptuous thing. I plan to forgive you as long as you apologize to Alva because I think you are
pitiful. But now I have changed my mind. You are not worthy of my sympathy at all."
Glenn was furious. He pointed at Eudora and cursed. Then, he said to Yvette, "Call the police. She
won't know how much she can handle unless we let her suffer."
