CEO’s Surrender With You I Can Never Win Chapter 24
The receptionist had a lot of questions about this weird meeting. She couldn’t help suspecting that her boss didn’t learn a lesson from the past.
With a smile on her face, Finley looked at the gloomy receptionist, stroked his hair confidently, and said, “Okay. See you.”
The rest in the lobby suddenly felt a chill:
Didn’t this woman know how ugly she was? How could she speak with such an expression? The people in the lobby wished that Bryan would teach this ugly woman a lesson.
This was the president’s office on the 56th floor.
Finley left the elevator with her lunch boxes, walked into Bryan’s office, and placed the lunch boxes
on the desk.
Bryan was reading the document with his head down, and there was a pair of gold–rimmed spectacles on the bridge of his nose.
“Why didn’t you knock the door before coming in?” he asked coldly.
Finley looked at the man innocently. “I did. You didn’t hear my knock because you focused on work.”
“Get out! Knock again.”
There was no response.
Finley felt dumbfounded.
How could there be such an unromantic man in this world?
Since Finley came to deliver the lunch, shouldn’t Bryan embrace and kiss her first?
“What if I refuse?” Finley sat down opposite Bryan casually.
Finley looked defiant.
She intended to tame the lofty Bryan with rebellion.
Bryan glanced at Finley with a cold face. “Do you believe that I’ll smash your head?”
Well, Bryan was the boss here, so Finley yielded first.
Finley stood up reluctantly, walked to the door, and knocked on the glass door.
Finley knocked three times.
“Come in!” A cold male voice came from inside the office.
How snobbish!
Finley walked into the office again.
Bryan sighed the documents in his hand, threw the documents and the pen aside, leaned back, and stared at Finley coldly.
“Why are you here?”
“I’m here to deliver lunch to you, my love.” Finley winked at Bryan mischievously. “Love Lunch.”
Bryan glanced at the two pink lunch boxes on the desk with pleasure.
Finley opened the lunch boxes, and the green vegetables appeared. Finley said, “Love is a ray of Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
green light. Honey, Do you like this dish of salad?”
Bryan’s face turned from red to livid and then from livid to blue.
What a good show!
“Vegetarian diet is popular among the young now. It’s good for health. My love, come, try it.” Finley pretended to see nothing and stuffed the fork into Bryan’s hands.
Bryan snorted. “Did you make this?”
Finley looked up at Bryan expectantly without answering his question. “Try first.”
Looking at her black and sparkling eyes, Bryan felt her expectation. Bewitched, Bryan took the fork, picked up one piece of vegetable, and put it into his mouth.
Finley lowered her head gloatingly to hide the cunning look in her eyes.
Frowning, Bryan spat out the food in his mouth into a trash can. He turned his head, glared at Finley, and said, “You fooled me!”
Finley raised her head, held herself both both hands on the desk, leaned over, and looked at Bryan with a smile. “It sucks, doesn’t it?”
“Nonsense!”
“Do you know who made it?”
Bryan was stunned. “Not you?”
He thought Finley had made and delivered lunch to please him.
“Of course not.” Finley stood up straight. “Your chef made these dishes for me. I thought you would like to try them, so they are here.”
Bryan instantly figured out the whole story.
Finley had suffered some injustice at home and came to complain.
Bryan knew now his servants didn’t take his words last night seriously.
Bryan decided to do something to prove his authority.
Meanwhile, Bryan was clear that Finley was taking advantage of his power to punish the servants.
Bryan turned cold. “Miss Keith, you are smart, aren’t you? Do you need my help for such a trifle?”
Finley was stunned for a moment, and then a smirk appeared on her face.
“You are my husband. If a woman suffers injustice, shouldn’t she seek help from her husband?” Then, Finley pouted with aggrievance. She went around the desk and threw herself into Bryan’s arms.
