Chapter 36 Relax
Chapter 36 Relax
Now that I'm well, Gavin doesn't have to accompany at home all the time, but he does text me when
he's at work. I laughed at his ignorance. He said "Before I was a good student. Now I was taught bad
by you. You can compensate me."
But putting all jokes aside, I dare not disturb him when he was busy. I didn't give him much help, if I
knocked him back. I was really not to appreciate what was good.
While Gavin was busy, I met his assistant Lydia, the tall, sassy girl I saw at the hospital. Lydia was as
beautiful as her name showed, but meticulous in her words. She spoke to me in the same manner,
seriously and with only key words.
I didn't mind but even admired her a little bit. Gavin was so serious at work, which was known to all. So
it was reasonable she had such a good assistant.
Gavin was afraid I'm always alone at home and get bored. He said he would take me to meet some
friends since I hadn't been out for so long.
In the car, I asked him who were at present. Was there many people? He said, "There should be a lot
of people. They are my best friends in business. In order to avoid embarrassment, they should all bring
their girlfriends."
I nodded and stopped asking. I just waited obediently.
When we arrived, everyone was here. I followed Gavin and greeted them cordially. A young man said,
"Wow, is this beauty your new girlfriend?"
I blushed and didn't know how to answer.
Fortunately, a slightly older man stood up, intentionally staring at the young man. "Fourth Bro, keep
your mouth shut. Watch out for Third Bro's fist! We won't help you!"
Today, all the people here were Gavin's true friends. Everyone knew that it was difficult to get along
with each other in business areas, and there were few friends here. Gavin said that these people were
all true friends. He told me not to be nervous, and just relax.
As soon as I sat down beside Gavin, a lively and pretty girl on the other side hurriedly introduced
herself. "You are Gavin's girlfriend, and you are my sister-in-law. My name is Ashley. May I have your
name please?"
I said shyly, "My name is Darcey. You can just call me Darcey." NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
As soon as I finished speaking, another long-haired beauty said. "Ashley, you are still a little girl. You
shoudn't call her sister instead sister-in-law! That's a more intimate calling of names. "
Then the young man who spoke to me just now also said, "That's not right, Amanda. You don't like
others to call you sister-in-law, but it's not necessarily Darcey doesn't like it. Do you think so, Darcey?
By the way, I forgot to say, my name is Henry, and Ashley is my girlfriend."
I nodded and smiled at them. The man who had helped me out just now said, "Darcey, don't be
couteous. Henry and his girlfriend are childish. I am their eldest brother, Andrew. This is Edward."
Andrew's temperament seemed to be very consistent with his identity of eldest brother, calm and not
indiscreet. Edward did not talk much and looked very approachable. He was silent most of the time.
Henry was obviously the kind of boy who liked to play. He might be a young master at home.
The long-haired Amanda was the big brother's girlfriend. It was said that they were going to get
married. Ashley and Henry just confirmed the relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, but they just fell
in love, and marriage seemed to be a future topic.
