Betrayal At The Altar

Chapter 77

Chapter 77

Rachel jumped out of the car and walked on the street in a daze.

It was undeniable that she had fallen into a painful internal struggle.

She was indeed moved by David.

However, her remaining rationality reminded her again and again not to forget the pain.

The three years she had been in love with Louis had consumed all her sincerity and passion, but it turned out that their relationship was one–sided.

David, however, had just appeared in her life for a few days.

Rachel scratched her head in frustration and thought to herself that she would cross the bridge when she reached it.

Suddenly, her lips curled into a self–deprecating smile.

She recalled what Mary had said in all seriousness, “Based on my many years of experience, it won’t be long before you fall.”

Sure enough, Mary was right.

As Rachel was thinking, her phone suddenly rang. She saw a call from Mary. “Rae–Rae, didn’t you say that you were coming over in the afternoon? Why took you so long?”

“…I’m on my way. I’ll be there soon.” Rachel looked around and hurriedly hailed a taxi from the side of the road. She bent down and got in.

Ten minutes later, Rachel arrived at the wedding dress studio.

The studio was located in a villa on Tranquil Road, away from the crowded and noisy streets, facing a stand of white birch trees.

The classic–style villa reveals a unique retro and melancholy, with pointed arches and rose windows as the main decorations.

The bronze nameplate clearly had the words “Redamancg” engraved on it.

Mary was responsible for the site of the studio and its design. Rachel just invested a portion of the funds and occasionally took orders.

When Rachel pushed the door open and walked in, she was greeted by Alice, who immediately went up to her. “Boss is waiting for you in the studio.”

Rachel nodded.

She walked up the spiral staircase and headed straight for Mary’s office.

At this moment, in Mary’s office, a well–dressed woman was sitting on the sofa and patiently sipping tea.

“You’re finally here.” Mary secretly heaved a sigh of relief at the sight of Rachel. Mary stood up, walked to Rachel, and introduced her to the woman sitting on the sofa. “This is our chief designer, Rachel Grey. This is Miss Iris Shain.”

Of the four major families in Seaxas, the Shain family was one of them.

“Hello.” Rachel graciously extended her hand.

After the three of them sat down, Iris revealed some of her thoughts on the wedding dress.

Rachel sat at the side and carefully recorded it. Finally, she took measurement of Iris’s vital statistics.

“In a week, we’ll pass you the design draft. It’ll help you propose some opinion,” Rachel said.

Iris’s face was filled with joy. “Thanks, Miss Grey.”

After sending Iris off, Mary and Rachel turned around and returned to the office.

Not long after she sat down, Alice knocked on the office door and

nodded at Rachel. “Boss, there’s a Miss Cruise downstairs who wants to see you.”

“Miss Cruise?” Upon hearing this name, Mary’s eyes turned cold. Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

Olivia Cruise, this angelic bitch, was so hateful. As a result, just hearing someone with the same last name as her would make Mary disgusted.

Mary put down the mug in her hand and said to Rachel, “Wait for me.”

However, when she walked down the stairs and saw Olivia and Jane, a cold smile appeared on her face.

Enemies were really bound to meet on a narrow road!

Mary recalled how Olivia had sent someone to smash her beloved car. Although Rachel had compensated her with a brand new car without hesitation, Mary was still furious.

Since Olivia had taken the initiative to come to her, she could not

of the opportunity to teach her a lesson!
